This is the place where we talk less and show more. Images of projects. Celebrations of craft. The results of our efforts.

Chilmark Woodland
This house was designed for three generations, with first floor wing (to the left) for the oldsters and second floor suite for the middle generation. It replaced a 1960’s house down the hill that was beyond repair.

Island CoHousing
Island CoHousing is a neighborhood. It was designed to provide high quality affordable and market rate housing that fosters a sense of community. (For additional information, see What We Do / Affordable Housing)

Aquinnah Hilltop
This home is tucked onto a shelf high above Menemsha Pond, with grand views to both Vineyard Sound and the ocean.

Edgartown Great Pond
Along the scrub oak tree line of an Edgartown outwash plain, this low el-shaped residence replaced an ungainly aging house near the water's edge.

Writer's Shack, Chilmark
Our Writer's Shack, designed and built entirely from salvaged, found, and recycled materials. This small building was donated to "Houses On The Move", an all-volunteer effort by artisans, designers, builders & organizers to raise awareness of, and funds for, local affordable housing needs.

Chilmark Pond
A house that began life as a small camp on the south shore. After an elaborate planning and design process (the site is highly visible), we moved it back away from the pond, renovated it, and added on. The resulting house hugs the site neatly & the interior is open, airy, and light.

Seven Gates, West Tisbury
Built in 1910 on a spectacular North Shore site, this house had gone so far downhill it was barely salvageable. Analysis showed we could save the evocative parts and rebuild the rest. It accommodated the arts and crafts renovations and additions well.

Chilmark North Shore
Nestled into the trees on a gentle north slope, we designed these houses for a large extended family. The spaces are generous inside and out. Views reach out to the Elizabeth Islands.

Middle Road, Chilmark
A barn for living and ponds to swim in, all tucked into the Chilmark woods. Found items and salvaged materials were used extensively, creating a truly unique home.
